Heartworm Prevention is given on the 10th of each month

Maya is a 6 month old little girl that was surrendered by her owner. When I picked her up at the Vet’s office she was scared and confused. Poor thing did not know what had happened to her life. But as puppies will do, she bounced back in record time ( hours to tell the truth). She is now happily running around the house an pestering all other dachshunds. As you can imagine her schedule is; PLAY, PLAY, EAT, PLAY, PLAY! She loves other dogs and people. She love attention. She demands attention if you are not giving her enough. Maya is a Purebred, Red-Smooth Mini- Dachshund who would be perfect in a home with or without other dogs. She is good with men, women and children that have been taught how to be gentle with dachshunds.

As I said she loves her kibble and to play. Not much else holds her attention. She is good in her kennel and is being taught when to do her personal business. When first kenneled she will complain for a few minutes, but will then settle down. So far she thinks the BIG bed is for playing and not for sleeping. She is a puppy and I think will learn quickly.
