Let me introduce myself to all of you.  My name is Willie and I am a 1 year old red dachshund. My owners had to surrender me to CTDR as my young human in the house developed a very serious allergy and ended up seriously ill in the hospital.  I so love kids, once I get to know them.  I am very scared of new children so introductions need to go very slowly.  I get along well with other dogs, but it would be best if I was in a home without cats as I love to chase them.  I am crate and leash trained and for the most part I am potty trained, but I will have accidents if I am not let out often.  I have had all of my vaccines and I am ready to find another forever home.  If interested in letting me join your family, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
