Layla is a very happy, energetic, playful, loving girl. She would really enjoy a dog buddy that loved to play with her. She also loves toys (mostly stuffed one that squeak). She is an active little girl and has had a great time exploring all the toys in the toy basket.

Layla loves her people. She will bark at folks who come to visit but after a few minutes is ready to be friends. She loves to give kisses (mostly on the face) so her new family needs to be ok with that. She likes to be with her humans -- whether it's on the couch watching TV or in the office when her foster parents work from home. She will crawl under the covers to the foot of the bed and sleep in one spot all night.

Layla loves food. She is a bit overweight and her foster parents are working on that by watching her meals and being sparing on treats. She takes treats very gently. She eats at a reasonable speed and does not inhale her food like some dogs.

She seems to enjoy riding in the car. Her foster parents are working on proper potty habits. She is perfectly comfortable with the doggie door so she just needs some training.

Bottom line: Layla would love a family with another playful dog, people who like smooches and are ok with her sleeping at the foot of the bed!
